Joseph De Paul

Entertainment beyond your imagination

Joseph De Paul presents a versatile and polished act that incorporates elements of Classic Magic, Mentalist, The Great American Side Show, and Stand-up Comedy. Joseph’s flexible and diverse repertoire allows him to perform in almost any situation – Theaters, Bars, Comedy Clubs, Banquet halls, private homes and more. His smart, funny and mature approach to magic and entertainment always leaves the audience wanting more.

Born and raised in Fanwood, New Jersey Joseph is a dynamic performer in the Stand Up Comedy and Magician community. He attended SUNY Maritime College in New York, NY, and completed his undergraduate in January 2008. Later that year moved to Sunnyvale, CA and began to work as an engineer. Near the end of 2008, he took an interest in magic and started to do extended research on the subject. In the spring of 2009 Joseph moved to Annapolis, MD, to work as an engineer.

Maryland is home to the top magic studio in the country – the Denny & Lee Magic Studio. Joseph quickly inserted himself into the strongly recognized magic community there. He became quickly recognized for his skill in sleight of hand Close up Magic, his natural performance ability, and fast learning curve. In two short years, thanks to the studio and an unrelenting work ethic, Joseph acquired a large amount of knowledge, and developed a wide range of performance skills.

In 2011, Joseph moved to Portsmouth, VA, where he currently lives, and got heavily active in the Hampton Roads Stand-up Comedy scene. This complimented his already versatile entertaining repertoire of magic and allowed him to perform for more regularly. The result was an engaging element of humor to his strong repertoire.

Joseph’s present act is for those who appreciate high quality entertainment. His audiences always applaud his smart, funny and fresh approach to magic and entertaining.
